The success of Geopark development and heritage conservation relies on the stakeholders' understanding, involvement, and recognition of heritage values and their economic benefits. In order to achieve effective conservation and sustainable resource utilisation, initiatives such as capacity building need to be formulated.


12th & 13th November 2024 - The Geopark Management Unit (GMU) of the Forest Department Sarawak had a wonderful opportunity to collaborate with the dedicated staff at Wind Cave and Fairy Cave Nature Reserves, part of the Sarawak Delta Geopark. Together, we conducted a mini workshop focused on creating a "Visitor's Briefing Pack."


27 February 2024 - Study Visit to Lenggong Geopark, Perak, organized by the Ministry of Tourism, Creative Industry & Performing Arts Sarawak.
