SARAWAK DELTA GEOPARK PARTNERS
The aSDGp engages in formal partnership agreements withvarious stakeholders, including local businesses; government agencies to align on development goals and secure funding; and educational institutions for knowledge sharing, research, and educational tourism. The aSDGp has been developing policies and initiatives to promote local products and partnerships as part of its efforts to enhance the area’s branding and tourism appeal.


Kampung Peros

One of the villages that started out of a mountain settlement Mount Tra’an in Krokong. The inhabitants were reported to be the last ones to move out of the mountain village to settle closer down in the valley via Sipanyut settlement. The village is sometimes referred to by the older generation of Krokong villagers as Kupuo' Dorod which literally means the mountain village or Kupuo Romin. Some of the inhabitants later moved out to form a village called Batu Spit. A group of new Roman Catholic converts found that they could no longer the pagan rituals moved out and built the settlement called Kupuo Pisa’ today.


Borneo Cultures Museum

The Borneo Cultures Museum is located in the centre of Kuching city next to Padang Merdeka. This five-storey building is designed in a modern style, with distinctive architectural features that reflects Sarawak’s unique traditional crafts and rich cultural heritage. Each gallery within this five-storey building offers a different experience. The children’s gallery theme on the second floor is 'Love our Rivers’, the ‘In Harmony with Nature’ gallery is on the third floor, the ‘Time Changes’ gallery is on the fourth floor, and the ‘Objects of Desire’ gallery is on the fifth floor.

Wind Cave and Fairy Cave Nature Reserves

The Wind Cave and Fairy Cave are nature reserves established to protect the caves, their inhabitants, and the surrounding limestone forest, which is home to rare plant and fauna species. The Wind Cave was formed millions of years ago and was once inhabited by humans. It features stalagmites, stalactites, pillars, and other formations that make it of crucial value as a geological, biological, and cultural site.

Bako National Park

Bako National Park, located near Kuching, is a popular destination for visitors seeking to experience Borneo's rainforest. The park offers diverse attractions, including internationally significant geological features, abundant wildlife, jungle streams, waterfalls, exciting plants, secluded beaches, and trekking trails. Gazetted in 1957, Bako is Sarawak's oldest national park and one of the smallest, yet it contains almost every type of vegetation found in Borneo. A well-maintained network of trails allows visitors to explore this unique environment.



The LimeTree Hotel

The LimeTree Hotel, a local hotel business, was opened in 2010 in Kuching, Malaysia, and is registered under MOTAC as a Tourism Accommodation Premises. The LimeTree Hotel is committed to offering guests a fresh and positive living experience through lime-inspired rooms, a smoke-free environment, healthy foods, handmade lime products, and friendly staff. The hotel is also dedicated to environmental sustainability and is a member of Travelife. The hotel was awarded a Gold Certificate for Accommodation Sustainability by Travellife consecutively for the period of 2015 - 2017 and 2023 - 2025.



Permai Rainforest Resort

Permai Rainforest Resort is an eco-friendly resort located near Mount Santubong. The resort offers a unique experience of immersing oneself in the Borneo rainforest and a tropical beach. With its protected rainforest and rugged natural beauty, the resort provides various recreational activities, including jungle trekking, overnight trips, a high ropes course, stand-up paddleboarding, and dolphin watching. Permai Rainforest Resort is also a popular venue for team-building activities, offering customized programs to meet the objectives of different organizations. The hotel also promotes responsible tourism in its programs.



Institute of Biodiversity and Environmental Conservation (IBEC), UNIMAS

The Institute of Biodiversity and Environmental Conservation (IBEC) was founded in 1995 to study tropical biodiversity in Southeast Asia. It promotes research, teaching, and policy making for biodiversity conservation and management. IBEC has modern laboratories, experienced staff, and research associates from around the world. The institute has achieved significant success in scientific publications, public outreach, international linkages, and research grants.




Borneo International School

Established in 2017, Borneo International School is a private international educational institution in Kuching, Sarawak. Offering a comprehensive curriculum from Primary to A-Level, the school caters to over 600 students from 20 nationalities. Committed to providing a holistic education, Borneo International School equips students with life skills and fosters a love of learning. As believers in community social responsibility, the school encourages students to actively engage in community service. These activities help to instil a spirit of gratitude, appreciation, and a sense of responsibility in students, contributing to their personal development.


Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Paku Bau

Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Paku was established in the year 1998. Currently, the number of students is 1,391, with a teaching staff of 90, including the principal. Meanwhile, there are 12 members of the Support Staff, each assigned according to their respective duties. SMK Paku also offers hostel facilities for students who live far away to support their learning. Over the course of approximately 27 years, many improvements have been made to various areas including the classroom blocks, administration offices, laboratories, library, and hostel. Numerous achievements have been attained in both academic and co-curricular activities, including at the school, zonal, district, and state levels.


SEKOLAH KEBANGSAAN TABA SAIT | Linktree
Sekolah Rendah Kebangsaan Taba Sait

Sekolah Kebangsaan Taba Sait is a primary school located in the Bengoh Resettlement Scheme (BRS), along the Semadang-Jambusan Road. This school is a merger of two schools from the interior of Bengoh that were relocated in 2014 due to the construction of the Bengoh Dam. In 2019, construction of the new school building began and was completed in 2024. As a result, SK Taba Sait officially moved into the new building on January 2, 2024, with 77 murid perdana and 24 murid prasekolah.
